Description

The ASD Simplified Technical English Specification ASD-STE100 (formerly known as AECMA Simplified English, AECMA Document: PSC-85-16598) is published by the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (formerly European Association of Aerospace Industries or AECMA). This document originated from the growing need for clear communication of complex maintenance data. It consists of a set of rules to simplify writing styles, and a dictionary of approved general words designed to help technical writers and editors express maintenance data unambiguously by using only one word for a particular idea or action.
