Description

This is a complimentary specification for companies who are interested in listing or accessing part pricing data on the Procurement Database, a component of the ATA Aviation Marketplace. It provides details on file formats for uploading and downloading data to/from the central database but does not include the data dictionary. Upon joining the ATA Aviation Marketplace, participants are provided access to the data dictionary.

Users of the Procurement Database will also want to reference the Model of Applicability (MOA) Code List. The Model of Applicability (MOA) feature allows airframe/engine manufacturers to modelize their data, so airlines can filter out unnecessary procurement data that is not applicable to their fleet.

Notes

Members of the ATA e-Business Program have access to this specification and all other ATA e-business specifications for free. To learn more about the cost and benefits of membership or to get involved in the standards development process, go to http://www.ataebiz.org.
