Description

This specification provides an industry standard for modeling electronic logbook (ELB) data as well as a set of methods for exchanging the ELB object data among computing systems, for example from an e-Logbook system to a maintenance IT system. The intent of the specification is to reduce the total cost of implementing integrated solutions within an airline from multiple software providers without imposing or requiring a specific implementation. Key updates in this revision include: • Updates to improve replacement part information • Updates to Expiration types • Updates to better support Aircraft and Component Utilization • Joins between Flight Log and Fuel Record • Updates to MaintActionType to better support recording of on wing repair • Updates to several elements and attributes to better support interoperability with new Electronic Work Package specification • Several other minor changes
