Description

ATA Spec 105 serves as a guideline for the development of a training program for personnel who accomplish Nondestructive Testing (NDT) tasks. The Spec references more universal training standards, such as ASNT SNT-TC-1A and NAS 410. This document describes an approach for preparing a curriculum for an airline's NDT maintenance training program and for qualifying individuals to conduct aircraft inspections.

The changes in the 2022.1 revision include:
  • Clarification of Level II certification’s total hours should include all time accrued at Level I - Special and or at Level I.
  • Reference updates
