SG 901: Facility Planning Guidelines: Baggage Handling - Passenger Terminal, Revision 2018.1
Description
There are few avenues available for the airlines to share their experience with other industry partners involved in the design and construction of new airport baggage handling facilities. This publication is intended to share accepted engineering and ergonomic principles, lessons learned and best practices among all parties involved in the design, manufacture, installation and utilization of modern baggage-handling systems. The primary use for these guidelines will be in the development and implementation of new systems. Since most existing systems do not lend themselves to modification at a reasonable cost, these guidelines are not intended for retroactive application.
