Spec 2300: Data Exchange Standard For Flight Operations, Revision 2023.1

Description

The purpose of this specification is to provide a concise set of information standards and guidelines for the management, configuration and interchange of flight operations technical content for fixed-wing and rotorcraft. This Specification is focused on a data-centric approach, addressing the aircraft operator’s current and planned future operational / business requirements of these data.

Revision highlights include:

• Introduced guidance for use of applicability for non-aircraft related content
• Replaced the table of Standard Qualifiers with an XML Standard Qualifier Repository
• Added guidance for Operations Manual Part C: Route/Role/Area and Aerodrome/Operating Site Instructions and Information
• Added modifications to allow multiple versions of a DM in an exchange package
• Added a modification to specify the location of the project rules DM Status in the Package Organization Description file
• Replaced the table of Units of Measure with additions of Units in the XML Common Repository
