ATA Specification 103 provides guidance for the safe storage and distribution of jet fuel at airports as currently practiced in the commercial aviation industry. It also includes forms that can be used to record performance of tests and inspections. The 2026.1 revision includes extensive revisions to the document.

Change Requests

Spec 103, Standards for Jet Fuel Quality Control at Airports is published by Airlines for America on behalf of its member airlines. In use since its first publication in 1986, the standard is constantly updated to meet the changing needs of the industry via an online system to request and track changes.
