Description
This procurement specification is intended to facilitate electronic procurement of aircraft parts between systems. Included are the business requirements and XML Schema for Message Receipt, Quotation Requests and Responses, Purchase Order Submittals and Response/Status, Stock Requests and Responses, Invoicing and Parts Shipment Messages.
Highlights for this revision include:
- Added an optional List Price structure on the Stock And Price Response message so the supplier can include the list price along with the sales price.
- Clarified the use of discounts throughout all messages
- Revised the AddressType structure to use ISO 3166-2 standard for Subdivision instead of Municipality, State and StateProvinceCode.
- Removed extraneous CarrierCode field on the Purchase Order Submittal message.
- Added ECCN and TraceabilityCertDocRef to the Purchase Order Status message.
- Moved the Locked enumeration from SubStatusCode to be an attribute of StatusCode on the Purchase Order Status message. Added other enumerations to SubStatusCode.
- Added ServiceLevel, as an optional structure, to the Shipment Notification message.
- Added field lengths to more elements and attributes in the schemas.
- Standardized some schema elements.
- Renamed some schema fields for clarity and alignment with other ATA specifications.
- Added use cases for Stock and Price and for when a customer acknowledges a supplier change on an order.
- Clarified where external standards are used, e.g. ISO 3166 Alpha-2.
- Made general edits throughout the document to improve clarity and readability.
- Updated CSDD entries.
