Description
ATA Spec 2000 Chapter 11 provides a set of standardized formats for collecting and exchanging aircraft, engine and component operational, maintenance and reliability data. These formats are used by airframe manufacturers, airlines and repair organizations as the preferred method for participating in their reliability data collection programs. Also included are the XML Schema to support the data exchange. Types of data include: Aircraft Status, Aircraft Hours and Landings, Summary Data, Aircraft Event, Logbook, LRU Removal, Engine Removal, Component and Engine Shop Findings & Piece Part, Scheduled Maintenance, Service Bulletin / Modification, Quantity Per Aircraft, Out-of-Service and Flight records.
Highlights for this revision include:
- Addition of Engine Shop Findings data set.
- Multiple changes to Scheduled Maintenance Record.
- Changes to Flight Record to better identify aircraft swaps.
- Update to LRU_Removal Record.
- Updates to Employee Skill Codes.
- Changes to Shop Findings record.
- Updates to Out of Service Record to better support Aircraft Availability measurements.
- Better table structure for improved visual hierarchy.
- Updated definitions of Basic and Non-Basic engine findings.
- Other miscellaneous corrections within the specification (not affecting XML).
