Description
This document describes guidelines for common product support practices between airlines and suppliers. Contents include special responsibilities of airframe and engine manufacturers, general terms agreements, provisioning, inventory policies, pricing, value analysis, order administration, packaging and transportation, invoicing, warranties and guarantees, simulators, manufacturers' technical data and traceability of aircraft/engine parts to meet regulatory requirements.
Highlights for this revision include:
- Updated multiple Spec 2000 references to individual documents.
- Added references to Spec 2000 Gen 2 Procurement, ATA Spec 2000 Work Package, ATA Spec 2300 Flight Operations, ATA Spec 2400 Allowable Configuration and ATA Spec 2500, Aircraft Transfer Records.
- Updated references to S1000D to also include ATA Spec 1000BR references.
- Added several new terms to the glossary and removed those that are redundant with the ATA CSDD.
- Made multiple corrections.
- Updated several regulatory references
